I have completed the wave afghan and turned it in to the "Hope for the Cure" raffle at my former employer's I.T. raffle. I have not heard anything about the raffle.
Currently I have no crochet projects underway.
Have a blessed day.

More progress on the Wave Afghan
Yesterday while listening to the Audible dot com "Under the Dome" I completed six additional rows to this project. 9 1/2" for 14 rows (two rows of a color.) I didn't bother with a swatch. The length is the case on row. I will do the width until it is as wide as I want it. The cast on length is 38".
Have a blessed day.

New blog about knitting and crochet
I picked up my first knitting needles when my Mom handed me a pair of wood needles that were hand carved by one of my ancestors. I wish I knew who but they were the start of my knitting career.
I started knitting with simple scarves and worked my way through raglan sleeved cardigans, Swedish two color sweaters, then outfits for my daughter then socks.
Crochet started with fastening seams in knitted garments. Then afghans, hats to donate to Lighthouse Youth Services, and other crocheted garments.
There have been some knitting and crochet patterns that I could not follow. I am still learning.
I will post as I finish a knit or crochet project with pictures if I can figure out how.
Have a blessed day.
